Birmingham’s oldest charity has reached a major milestone in its ambition to bring to the city a UK-first eco-pod scheme for older residents.

Birmingham’s oldest charity secured a new contract which will see it take on the management of 31 additional homes in the neighbouring borough of Walsall.

Lench’s Trust have agreed an arrangement to manage and oversee the four Almshouse charities across six historic buildings across the town.
