Waking Nights Carer (w/ Admin duties)

We are seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, hospice care, and patient care, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and first aid.

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication under the direction of a healthcare professional
- Help with meal preparation and household tasks
- Monitor changes in resident's health status and report to healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Implement behaviour management techniques for residents with specific needs

- Complete administrative tasks including using word and excel.

- To ensure building is safe and secure including health and safety checks.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in senior care, hospice care, or related fields
- Knowledge of medical terminology and first aid procedures
- Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care
- Experience in home care or assisted living facilities is a plus
