Today, although not known by many, is World Health Day. The day is used to inform people of a range of different health topics, however, during this year, the focus in on depression. This is something that’s extremely important to talk about, those suffering from depression often tend to avoid telling others about it and fear those listening won’t take them seriously or that it’s weird to feel that way. A survey taken place in the UK during 2009 actually found that 2.6% of people there were diagnosed with serious depression and 9.7% of people were suffering from mixed anxiety and depression.
