It's common for large supermarkets to have a chosen charity which they support, they place a money box at each of their tills with a label wrapped around it explaining the background of the charity and what they raise money for. The Sainsbury's in Harborne picked us to be their supported charity and so we supplied them with those things and the store graciously collected money for us through donations of kind customers. A sum in the region of £450 has been raised in the past number of months since we become their chosen charity, we'd like to thank all those working at the store, the wonderful customers and also Jason from the store who will be assisting us in organising an event to raise money for Admiral Nurses (specialist dementia nurses) some time in the future.
