Last Thursday, Tanner's Close held their wonderful Easter party for 2017 (along with William Lench Court and Lench's Close). Numerous residents kindly brought in their hand-made bonnets to enter them into the contest, it was a hard time deciding which to choose as the winner with so many spectacular pieces on display. However, Andy (the marvellous judge) eventually decided to choose one based on the amount of effort that had gone into making it. Finally, Margaret, a Tanner's Close resident was declared as the winner having created a great, eye-catching bonnet.

The residents were soon enjoying the food and drink that was on offer and took part in the Easter raffle where many surprises were won. The party was closed by the Tanner's Close choir who sang a collection of four songs. With all that went on, it's safe to say we look forward to the next one!
