News and Events News Daylight savings Autumn is officially over, so say hello to daylight savings and shorter days along with longer nights. On Sunday, October 29th the clocks will go back by one hour at 2 am, so when it becomes that time it will actually be 1am! So make sure to enjoy your extra hour of sleep. Throughout the year, the amount of daylight we get more than doubles, going from seven hours forty minutes deep in December, up to sixteen hours and fifty minutes on the longest day in June. If less daylight per day is getting you down, just remember even though it will slowly get darker and darker in the mornings, at least you will get that nice cosy feeling wrapping up in your warm bed and get a good nights sleep.
