Residents at William Lench Court enjoyed a first class Christmas Lunch followed by entertainment on Tuesday afternoon, 18th December.  The traditional lunch was provided by Raj and the catering team and won lots of praise from residents for being a meal of excellent quality.  Other than the food itself the highlight of the meal may have been the plastic jumping frogs that came with the Christmas crackers.  Some residents picked up the game very quickly, we had frogs leaping all over the place!

Our entertainer, Rob Burton, planed and sang a medley of Christmas and “sing-along” type songs to which Residents were happy to join in.  Everyone sang and danced the afternoon away and all who attended said they thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Raj and the Catering TeamWe also wished a Happy 99th Birthday to resident Harry Knight, we held a raffle raising £144 for the Residents’ Fund and we presented our December Good Neighbour Award to Jeanette Edwards for organising a December outing for her friends and neighbours.

Many thanks to Raj and the Catering Team for their hard work!
