Residents at William Lench Court enjoyed an excellent Burns Night celebration on the afternoon of Thursday, 24th January.

Entertainer Richard Jasper performed a medley of Scottish songs, with a few Irish ones thrown in for good measure, and had residents on their feet dancing, singing and clapping along.  Richard sang and played guitar, and also performed a number of traditional songs on the bagpipes.  Raj and the team had prepared a traditional Haggis, Tatties & Neeps supper which was enjoyed by guests.  The Haggis was piped in by Richard who then recited Robbie Burns’ Address to the Haggis, to the delight of residents.

All in all, a wonderful Scottish afternoon!
