We had a very special visitor join us 7^th September for our coffee morning. Harvey the bull mastiff came with his owner Rachael, who works for the organisation ‘Birmingham Dogs Home’. Residents learnt all about the work ‘Birmingham Dogs Home’ do, and the love and care they give to strays and unwanted dogs in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. Cash donations, dog food and treats, and even blankets were donated by the residents to the organisation, which Harvey thanked them for (with a lick)! Residents also thought that Rachael was very well behaved as well.

We thank ‘Birmingham Dogs Home’ for visiting and showing us what great work they do, and hopefully we shall see Harvey and his owner Rachael sometime in the future! Special thanks to resident Jeremy Dunn for helping organise the event.
