Lench’s Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Dominic Bradley as its new Chief Executive from when its current Chief Executive, Jean-Luc Priez, retires in July this year.

The formal announcement was made during the Trust’s celebrations for its Founder’s Day, giving the opportunity to Dominic to meet with residents, staff and Trustees.Leke Sholuade, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, says: "Following an extensive search and selection process, we are delighted to welcome Dominic Bradley to Lench's Trust as our new Chief Executive. Dominic brings a wealth of experience in the social care sector, and we are confident that he has the skills, knowledge and passion to lead Lench's Trust into the future, building on the strong foundations established by Jean-Luc Priez. We look forward to working with Dominic as we continue to provide high-quality housing and support services to our residents."

Dominic Bradley comes to the Trust with a wealth of experience in housing, having in fact started his career at Ravenhurst Cottages, one of Lench’s Trust previous almshouse on Camp Hill, up to recently being the co-founder of Spring Housing whose mission statement is “to create long term prosperity to prevent homelessness, poverty and social isolation, and to inspire and unlock people’s potential”.

Dominic adds:

I’m delighted and honoured to be appointed as Lench’s Trust CEO, my predecessor Jean-Luc will undoubtedly be a hard act to follow but to have the opportunity to lead an organisation that has been part of Birmingham’s fabric for close to 500 years, with an unblemished record in investing in our city and supporting local people is really quite special, and as a local lad myself it’s something I’m really excited to be a part of. I know the Trust has ambitious plans set out in its strategic plan and I look forward to working with Trustees, residents and the team in delivering that vision in the coming months and years.

On the eve of the Trust’s 500th anniversary, we are all looking forward to welcoming Dominic and to continuing our mission to work with local communities to provide housing solutions which respond to the needs of older people in Birmingham.
