Issue 1 - Published Thursday 19th March 2020 Lench's Trust Weekly Coronavirus Update Latest Government Advice Please avoid going out to public places such as pubs and restaurants. Social distancing - avoid contact with those displaying symptons. Avoid large gatherings Stand/Sit 2 metres away from each other. If you have symptoms pleaase self-isolate for 7 days. If you are no better after 7 days call 111 for advice - if someone in the household is showing symptoms then it'll be a total of 14 days self-isolation. Cough/Sneeze into a tissue and quickly dispose of it into a bin Drink plenty of fluids often I.e. tea, coffee and water Clean surfaces within your favourite household regularly I.e. door handles and work surfaces. Lench's Trust Measures Residents All events and activities have been cancelled until further notice to avoid social gatherings and all communal areas closed, apart from the Laudry; The postmen will be asked to deliver all post to the Scheme Managers who will then arrange for collection or distribution, depending on circumstances. Same for milkmen, newspaper delivery, pharmacies, etc; The gym at William Lench Court will be closed until further notice with immediate efffect; The hairdressing salons at Lench's Close and William Lench Court will be closed until further notice. Staff The Maintenance Team will be on call and attend the schemes only when requested We will not have outside contractors until further notice - unless emergency response. The cleaning regime at all schemes have already been increased but we will keep vigilant and follow up public health advice; Posters & Notices reminding people to wash their hands, utilise hand sanitisers and to 'catch it, bin it, kill it' will be displayed all around the schemes. . Please Remember: CATCH IT, BIN IT, KILL IT IF YOU HAVE A CONTINUOUS COUGH AND/OR HAVE A FEVER PLEASE MENTION IT TO YOUR SCHEME MANAGER AND THEN SELF ISOLATE YOURSELF IF NECESSARY (YOUR SCHEME MANAGER WILL ADVISE YOU) FOR A MINIMUM OF 7 DAYS IF SYMPTOMS INCREASE OR LAST FOR MORE THAN 7 DAYS PLEASE CALL 111 FOR ADVICE DO NOT ATTEND YOUR GP IF YOU SHOW ANY SYMPTOMS .
