Hi everyone! My name is Nick, and I’m the current Communication Facilitator for Lench’s Trust, although sadly, I will be leaving the organisation at the beginning of March. Before I leave however, I wanted to start a blog that informs the residents, and those visiting our website, about the internal happenings within the organisation.

Since head office at William Lench Court has moved, head office staff sadly haven’t had time to see as much of the residents as we would have hoped. Thankfully however, Founder’s Day is coming soon, and we’ll all be able to catch up with residents from all 3 schemes! With a buffet and a Bee Gee’s tribute band, the day will undoubtedly be great fun. As many of you may know, if there’s free food at the event, I’m bound to turn up.

I myself have been working on Facebook Pages for the Trust and for each of our sites. This will help the Trust reach even more people around Birmingham, and hopefully allow us to help as many of those in need as we can. If you have any feedback to offer when the page is live, please feel free to contact us.

Lastly, I hope you enjoyed the most recent newsletter. The Winter 2016/17 Issue was our 9th issue of the newsletter! Time seems to be flying by. It includes some interviews with staff and trustees, a wordsearch, and of course, all the latest happenings with each of our sites. It took quite some time to put together, so I hope it put a smile on your face.

I’ll speak to you before I leave, but that will be my last blog post sadly. See you then!
