Trustees

As a charity Lench's Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees comprising 12 Trustees. The key responsibility of an individual Trustee is, with other Trustees, to hold the charity in trust for current and future beneficiaries.

The Board of Trustees will approve the vision, mission statement and ethos/values of the organisation and establish a framework for approving policies and plans to achieve agreed objectives. The Board of Trustees is accountable for the proper use of the resources to fulfill Lench's Trust's purpose.

The current Trustees are Len Clark, Kate Cooper, Timothy Cuthbertson, Sarah Davis, Robin Felton, Charles Gillett, Tony Guest, Shihab Hossain, Amarjet Snehi, Tina Swani and Martin Woodward.

The Board of Trustees elects a Bailiff and a Junior Bailiff (Chair and Vice-Chair of the Board) each year at their AGM. Kate Cooper and Tony Guest were elected Bailiff and Junior Bailiff in April 2011.

The Chief Executive acts as Clerk to the Trustees, ensuring compliance to all the organisation's statutory obligations and supporting the Bailiff to ensure an efficient running of the Board's business.
