Harry Knight from Lench's Close

01 August 2012

I was absolutely overjoyed to make the move and come to a beautiful place like this. An oasis, I thought. An oasis in Moseley. Where we used to live it was a bit dodgy but we can feel completely at ease now, and really comfortable. Make the move, it’s wonderful.

You’ve only got to look around at the trees, the wildlife, the birds, the grass and the architecture. It’s wonderful architecture; it’s a beautiful place. It’s not like living in an ordinary street – it is a community.

When you meet people you invariably stop and exchange words, which you probably wouldn’t do in an ordinary street. Everybody knows everyone else. There are one or two who don’t get involved in things, perhaps, but most do and that’s the better part of it. It’s a lovely place to live, that’s all I can say.
