Lench’s Trust has launched an appeal for funds to help finance the project to increase the facilities at Lench’s Close and bring them up to date for the benefit of its elderly residents and the wider local community.
The work, which started in October,will create a new residents’ lounge, an additional activity/meeting room and will also modernise the existing hairdressing facility, upgrading the equipment and furniture for the benefit of the residents.
Lench’s Trust is seeking to raise £32,000 to pay for furniture, equipment and soft furnishings and will be grateful for all donations, both large and small. All donations will be recorded and attributed to the generosity of the donors in our donations register.
The new facilities will open to the residents and to the wider community in April 2012.
