Fundraising

As one of Birmingham’s oldest charities Lench’s Trust has been fortunate, down the ages, to have raised sufficient funds to enable it carry out its purpose of supporting and caring for the elderly in need in the city.

As we move into the 21st century our society is ageing; there are now more people over the age of 60 than there are under 16. This trend is set to continue and will have profound implications for all of us as individuals and also for society as a whole.

For Lench’s Trust this trend means that it will face an increasing demand to care for and support an ever growing number of our older generation who are facing financial hardship or social isolation.  Over the coming years the Trust, therefore, will be faced with raising larger amounts of funding than ever before in order expand its facilities and provide more care services to those in need.

If you would like to help us to expand our services and provide care and support to those of our older generation who are in need there are a number of ways in which you can help us:

APPEALS

On occasions we will launch an appeal to raise funds for a major project.  Check our Appeals page for the latest news.

EVENTS

During the course of the year the Trust holds a few events, often in conjunction with its partners, to raise funds for and awareness of Lench’s Trust and the work that it does.  See our Events page for upcoming events.
